An intensive 14 day course that starts every Saturday or Monday all year that will take the novice and develop the skills required to become a leisure or commercially endorsed RYA/MCA Day Skipper the course will include, 

• RYA Competent Crew
• RYA Day Skipper Practical and Theory

This is a Professional RYA/MCA course that combined with a Medical ENG1 or ML5, Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR) course plus Sea Survival and a VHF SRC Course leads to commercial endorsements that enable the holder to work commercially with paying customers by day. The course whilst covering all the subject matter still has time for relaxation in the evenings. An enjoyable course with like minded students who have the time to study in an intensive environment.

This course is delivered from our Barcelona Palamos Base at Club Nautic Costa Brava Marina. To obtain the RYA Theory Certificate you will need to pass the shore based theory exam and spend at least 4 days in our shore based classrooms.

For those students working or looking for positions in the Super Yacht industry you can add a further week for the STCW BST course all 5 modules are included.

A 14 day intensive course fully inclusive £1795 add STCW BST for £995. You can also opt for our 9 day Fast Track Course that just includes RYA Day Skipper Practical and Theory from £1095. We include breakfast and lunches aboard.

All Commercial Skippers wanting to be endorsed must also produce their Professional Practices and Responsibilities Certificate.
